ARTURO BARRIENTOS | PASTOR DE IGLESIA CALVARIO

Arturo Barrientos nació en una familia pastoral y misionera en Costa Rica. Desde niño tuvo la oportunidad de vivir en 5 países de América Latina.Después de terminar la escuela secundaria, comenzó a estudiar para ser piloto de línea aérea; cuando Dios lo llamó a servir en el ministerio a tiempo completo. Estudió inglés y teología en Inglaterra. Luego de eso, se casó con Evelyn Zúñiga en 1991. Juntos han servido al Señor de muchas maneras. Fueron misioneros en España durante 8 años y también han sido consejeros. Han trabajado con niños, jóvenes, líderes de iglesias, pastores, así como en evangelismo y plantación de iglesias. Arturo ha sido pastor en diferentes iglesias y ha tenido roles incluyendo pastor de evangelización, misiones y pastor principal. Nunca pudieron tener hijos pero han sido una familia de acogida para algunos niños en riesgo. En noviembre de 2023 se mudaron a Muscatine, donde Arturo se desempeña como pastor de la Iglesia Calvario. Arturo se siente increíblemente privilegiado de servir a Dios en Iowa y en Calvary Church.





Arturo Barrientos was born into a pastoral and missionary family in Costa Rica. Since he was a child, he had the opportunity to live in 5 Latin American countries. After finishing high school, he was studying to be an airline pilot when God called him to serve in full-time ministry. He studied English and theology in England. After that, he married Evelyn Zúñiga in 1991. Together they have served the Lord in many ways. They were missionaries in Spain for 8 years and have also been counselors. They have worked with children, youth, church leaders, pastors, evangelism, and church planting. Arturo has been a pastor in different churches and has had roles including pastor of evangelism, missions, and senior pastor. They were never able to have children but they have been a foster care family. In November 2023, they moved to Muscatine where Arturo is serving as the Iglesia Calvario pastor. Arturo feels incredibly privileged to serve God in Iowa and in Calvary Church.
