    • In today’s scripture passage, we see that the prophet Habakkuk was frustrated with God’s longsuffering patience and told Him so. God answered him but, probably not the answer he wanted, “Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told”. (Hab 2:5) God was going to have the Babylonians, probably the fiercest warriors of the time, rise up and invade Israel. Missionary work can be very rewarding and sometimes dangerous, as we heard from the Bennetts. The genocide in Rwanda was a very real and present danger that they escaped thanks to some of their local and other friends. God is God, and we’re human. Who are we to question his method of spreading the good news? God can spread the gospel in ways we don’t understand.
