    • Dan Schoepf
    • Where do you place your hope? In government, self-help books, material things? In Isaiah 9 we find our hope in a little child who was born 700 years after this passage was written. The times back then were desperate, fear of being overrun by foreign nations, a corrupt government, but Isaiah talks of a child coming to their rescue and this child will be called Wonderful Counselor. Listen as Pastor Dan unpacks the rest of the story.

    • Mighty God
    • Ty Thomas
    • Last week we learned how Jesus was the mighty counselor and this weeks lesson is on our Mighty God. He is mighty because he created everything. Without Him, nothing would have been made. In addition, He is ruler over everything in the heavens, the earth and the waters: The seen and the unseen. It’s easy to grasp that He is ruler over what we can see but the unseen is a little different. The unseen includes demons and other evil spirits that are bent on bringing Christians down, so be careful that you do not fall prey to the unseen

    • Everlasting Father
    • Ty Thomas
    • Country Music Legend George Strait had a hit song called a Father’s Love and starts off like this. “Let me tell you a secret, about a father’s love, a secret that my daddy said was just between us. He said daddies don’t just love their children every now and then, it’s a love without end amen.” If this represents an earthly father’s love, try to imagine how our heavenly Father loves us. We can’t. Because, like God Himself, His love is infinite; it has no boundary. We are never beyond the reach of God’s love for us and because He is an Everlasting God, He wants to spend eternity in heaven with us that’s why he sent His only Son to die for us. Some of us have not experienced the type of love described in the song, but know this. Your everlasting Father in heaven loves you with an everlasting love, thanks to His Son, Jesus.
