  • Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community.  Everyone has a story, so come discover how your story intersects with the grand story of salvation as told in the Bible.  We have two more weeks of introduction before the class really gets in high gear!  Taught by Pastor Bruce.  Meets Sundays at 10:30 am in the Serving Area until May 20.  Starting Point 2 will begin on June 10.  Watch for more class details!
  • Summer Bible Class, “Proverbs-Making Wise People Wiser!”, will run June 10 til August 12 in the Chapel.  Taught by Pastor Ty and others.
  • DivorceCare is a place to find help, discover hope, and experience healing.  Lead by Matt Lettington, a Marriage and Family Therapist, this 13-week course is intended to be a support group which will help you recover from the pain of separation and divorce.  Begins this Sunday at 10:30 am in Space #2.
  • Want to discover what the Bible says about church leadership?     1 and 2 Timothy give some serious instructions.  Join this class in Space #3 as they start their book study.
  • How does the Bible address current issues?  The Alpha and Omega group is taught by Don Grensing and meets in the “red chair room,” just off the entrance to the Commons.
  • Reconciliation Ministries International (RMI), Liberian fellowship will meet in Space #1.

Basic requirements for membership at Calvary Church are attending a one-session membership class, baptism (a separate class) and sharing your faith story either with your small group or you may set up a private interview session with a leadership board member and/or ministry leader. For more details and dates, read on!

Next Membership Class
Are you ready to be fully and officially “on the Team” here at Calvary?  Maybe you are not sure what that means?  We will answer questions about “behind-the-scenes” stuff and describe the process of Membership.  The class, led by Pastor Dan, is open to anyone approaching age 16 or older!  Check back soon for the next scheduled class.

Membership Reaffirmation
One of Calvary’s core values affirms, “Full devotion to Christ is normal for every believer.” We believe in setting the bar high, and we expect that our members will respond in like manner out of their devotion to Christ. To that end, we require all members to reaffirm their membership annually. This process takes place in the month of May.
