There is another phrase of the Christmas record that often gets neglected, “we have seen the glory.” The story of “the glory of God” throughout the Bible is fascinating. But for 400 years it was gone! Imagine facing the future during those four centuries! Not much hope there.

But when we discover the nature of “the glory” we can answer those initial questions, confidently.
