When God wants to grab our attention what does it take? What causes us to weep and grieve and repent from personal sin? Or have we become hardened?

It was a world remarkably similar to ours. God asked a prophet to enter into the messiest of family situations–a prostitute and kids who weren’t sure who dad was. God’s purpose was to illustrate.

Hosea’s shocking situation was intended to remind Israel and us how serious our sin really is!
